We’re excited to kick off 2025 by announcing our new name – WayPoint Resources!

WayPoint Resources represents our dedication to supporting individuals and families in times of hardship, offering direction and hope on their path to stability.

While our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to serve people’s immediate needs and create connections that encourage lifelong wellness. Our new name captures our role in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them during difficult moments in their lives.

We deeply appreciate your role in our journey from a food pantry to a dedicated community resource for food, clothing, medical care, and personalized support to those in need. We could not do it without you!

Why We Became WayPoint Resources

For nearly two decades, Waukee Area Christian Services has proudly served our community, inspired by faith and compassion. As our organization has grown, so has our vision. We wanted a name that:

• Represents our role as a waypoint—a place of direction, support, and rest for those navigating life’s challenges.
• Reflects the broader scope of services we offer to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families.
