On Our Way to a New Home
WayPoint Resources is creating a standalone home designed to serve our neighbors with greater accessibility, privacy, efficiency, and dignity.A New Space to Serve Growing Need
For more than two decades, WayPoint Resources has grown responsibly alongside the needs of our community while continuing to serve from the same basement location.
WayPoint’s story began at Westview Church, where the food pantry was established and other area churches were invited to join in serving local families. We are deeply grateful for Westview’s partnership, and for the foundation it helped create.
Building on that strong foundation, WayPoint’s future home will strengthen our proven model of coordinated care by bringing food, clothing, healthcare, personalized support, and the operations behind these services, together in one accessible location. Individuals and families will continue to address multiple needs in a single visit, while the new space reduces transportation barriers, saves valuable time, and makes it easier to receive support before a difficult situation becomes a crisis.
Our future home will provide the space and flexibility to deliver this support more efficiently, serve more people, and respond to our community’s growing needs.
- Easier Access
A street-level entrance will make it easier for clients, volunteers, and community partners to enter, navigate the building, and access services. - Improved Privacy
A more thoughtful layout will create a comfortable, respectful experience for individuals and families seeking support. - Better Service Flow
Additional space will allow food, clothing, healthcare, and support services to work together more efficiently. - Greater Storage and Capacity
The new location will nearly double our current service space, providing more room for food, clothing, supplies, and daily operations. - Room to Grow
As more families turn to WayPoint, our future home will help us meet today’s needs while preparing to serve our growing community well into the future.
