This week on the Waukee Podcast, we go deep with WayPoint Resources—an organization quietly doing some of the most important work in our community. Formerly Waukee Area Christian Services, WayPoint continues to meet people exactly where they are, providing food, clothing, medical care, and one-on-one support for neighbors navigating difficult seasons. What stands out most is not just the services—but the dignity, consistency, and stability they create every single day.

We also highlight their April Fundraiser and the “Cheers to Community” celebration on April 28—an open invitation for anyone who wants to be part of something meaningful. With a goal to raise $150,000 to support families across Dallas County, this is a moment for the community to show up. And if giving financially isn’t the path, they are always in need of volunteers—from the food pantry to the garden—because this mission simply doesn’t happen without people stepping in and serving.
